DS4Skills Team Reunites in Paris
On 5 March 2026, the DS4Skills consortium met in Paris for its second in-person meeting, over a year after the project started. The gathering was a chance to reconnect after months of online collaboration, welcome new partners: AFP, Tralalere, University of Jyväskylä, Tampere University, and Metropolia University of Applied Sciences, and move the project forward together.
The meeting was hosted by AFP, alongside Prometheus-X and Tralalere. The setting was inspiring, with stunning views across Paris, the Palais Garnier, Sacré-Cœur, and the Eiffel Tower, which added a special energy and magic to the day.
Despite the beautiful surroundings, and the vibrant atmosphere at AFP, the consortium stayed focused on the work.
The internal workshop was a highlight, where use cases teams shared updates across our eight use cases, discussed challenges, and aligned on the next steps. These discussions were key to ensuring that everyone remains on the same page and that the project continues to progress efficiently.
Beyond progress and planning, the meeting was also about connection. A year into DS4Skills, the consortium is growing, collaborations are strengthening, and moments like this reinforce the shared commitment behind the project.
This second in-person meeting in Paris reminded everyone that, while deliverables and milestones are important, it’s the people, the energy, and the live discussions that truly drive the project forward.
A special thank you to our hosts AFP, and to our partners Prometheus-X and Tralalere, for organising this wonderful meeting and making it such a memorable and productive experience.
And of course – Merci, Paris!
