The Universidad Internacional de La Rioja (UNIR) stands as a premier 100% online university, committed to delivering high-quality, personalised education. UNIR currently provides more than 400 academic degrees and comprises an academic community of over 4.500 knowledgeable lecturers from all over the world. The main headquarters are located in Logroño, La Rioja, Spain. It has also premises in Madrid (Spain), Colombia (Bogota), Quito (Ecuador), Lima (Peru) Bolivia (Santa Cruz), Mexico DF (Mexico), Buenos Aires (Argentina), Ciudad de Guatemala (Guatemala), and Miami (USA), along with a number of collaboration agreements with Latin-American and European universities. What is their role in the DS4Skills project?
In the DS4Skills project, UNIR serves as the leader of Work Package 3. In this role, UNIR is responsible for maintaining the data space operations, monitoring usage, and implementing eight use cases. These use cases are designed to demonstrate the practical applications and benefits of the data space. UNIR’s robust academic background, combined with their extensive experience in technology implementation and maintenance, guarantees comprehensive technical and operational support for all use case implementations. Furthermore, UNIR specialises in developing and maintaining community portals, ensuring user-friendly interfaces and robust digital infrastructures. Their integral role in executing the use cases and continuously monitoring the data space’s performance ensures that the project’s objectives are met effectively.
