Supporting Student Mobility and Lifelong Learning

THE GOAL

To improve the discoverability of learning opportunities in European university alliances and reduce the manual workload by transferring the learning opportunity data automatically through the skills data space instead of by manual means, as is currently commonplace.

MORE ON THIS USE CASE

The aim is to test and deploy a data space in Finland, and in another EU country, with the purpose of facilitating the matching of individual skills with learning opportunities and providers in the area of higher education. Based on the collaboration environment established in Finland in various shared national education information infrastructures and by the Digivisio national programme for higher education institutions, the project will improve digital services to support individuals in making educational and career choices and maintaining and developing their competence throughout their careers and lives, as well as to promote a better match between work, competence, and demand and supply of education.
