Must specify the URL / Endpoint. The PDC [2.1] supports REST/HTTP, expecting application/json output. If authentication is required, the Credential ID [2.4] (a reference to internal PDC configuration) is used.
In a Data Space Protocol’s based data space, resource representation is fundamental, so the connector is able to publish and consume data and services in an interoperable and standardized manner. Each Prometheus-X Prometheus X-Dataspace Connector (PDC)’s [2.1] resource may have one or various representations that specify how to access to the data and service associated, including the endpoint or the URL, the expected output format (application/json) and the authentication information through Credential ID [2.4].
These representations allow other connectors of the data space to locate and use resources automatically, using REST over HTTP, and ensuring that resource’s metadata and information are consistent and reusable. Also, a resource can have multiple representations, for example, a REST service for dynamic queries, a static file for data downloading or variants according to protocols and formats. Each representation provides all the technical information needed to interact with the resource without ambiguity including the resolution of credentials while executing if the access is authenticated. To access the updated and complete documentation, click on this link.
