How to obtain initial keys. Participants must register with a trusted platform (e.g., VisionsTrust) that operates the core services [7.0]. This process provides the serviceKey [3.3] (Client ID) and secretKey [3.3] (Client Secret)
Before a participant can operate with the PDC, it must complete an initial onboarding process to establish trust within the dataspace and to obtain the initial credentials needed for its configuration. This step is mandatory and carried out during the registration process with a platform that operates within the core services of the ecosystem [7.0], likeVisionsTrust. This platform works as the entry to the dataspace and is responsible for governance, trust framework management and security.
To register with the platform, firstly, participants must create an user account providing a valid email address, verify it through a confirmation code and defining its access credentials.
Once the account is created, you will need to register your organization providing it basic information, such as its name, a description and, alternatively, its logo. This information will be used to identify the participant and to link it with other participants’ PDC instances.
When the registration process is completed, the platform issues the credentials needed to interact within the dataspace and set the PDC up. These constitute thefirst participant’s security artifacts:
